How do you play?

I ran into a friend the other day and he was recalling a recent trip to Colombia. He doesn't speak Spanish but he said that he connected with the locals, more than many of his friends who do speak Spanish, because he played. He jumped in the pool. Made jokes. Sang.

Play can be a beautiful way to let down our defenses and connect with others in a fluid, embodied way. We don't have to analyze or say the right thing. We can just interact spontaneously with openness. A playful back and forth that brings out smiles and laughter. This month we challenge you

to have some fun. Be silly. Jump in the pool. Make funny faces. Let the lightness of July offer a lightness of being.
